WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Trey Cabbage and Michael Stefanic each drove in a run and the Salt Lake Bees downed Sacramento 5-2 Thursday at Sutter Health Park.

Jhonathan Diaz posted two strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work for the Bees as he improved to 1-0 on the season.

Tyler Fitzgerald homered in defeat for Sacramento.

The Bees improved to 16-20 on the season while the River Cats fell to 17-19.

The Bees and River Cats return to action Friday at 7:45 pm MDT at Sutter Health Park.
