OREM, Utah-Tuesday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Todd Phillips announced the signing of former Snow and Southern Utah guard Drake Allen to the Wolverines’ program.

Allen, a redshirt junior, returns to his native Utah Valley as he starred at Westlake High School of Saratoga Springs before going to Snow and SUU. Allen excelled in both basketball and baseball while a student-athlete for the Thunder.

Allen averaged 11 points and 3.7 assists per game last season for the Thunderbirds.

For his contributions at SUU, Allen was named to the WAC All-Newcomer Team.
