Utah Tech Men’s Basketball Signs Hawaii Transfer Beon Riley Tuesday

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Tuesday, Utah Tech men’s basketball head coach Jon Judkins announced the signing of Hawaii transfer Beon Riley into the Trailblazers’ program.

Riley, a 6’6″ 225-pound redshirt junior guard out of Chula Vista, Calif. averaged 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Rainbow Warriors last season.

Riley also starred at Cathedral Catholic High School of San Diego, becoming a first-team all-CIF selection while with the Dons. Riley also spent two seasons at athletic power Mater Dei High School of Santa Ana, Calif.

Riley is the Trailblazers’ fourth signee of the new season, joining guards Angelo Kambala and Aric Demings and swingman Tennessee Rainwater.
