EL PASO, Texas-Mickey Moniak homered twice and added an RBI single as the Salt Lake Bees doubled up El Paso 8-4 Sunday at Southwest University Park to conclude the series.

Trey Cabbage also hit his 9th home run of the season in victory for the Bees.

Ryan Smith posted four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work to earn his first win of the season on the mound for Salt Lake. Smith is 1-1.

Luis Liberato drove in two runs in the loss for the Chihuahuas.

After winning their second straight game, the Bees improved to 11-16 while the Chihuahuas fell to 11-16.

Tuesday, the Bees return home for a six-game series against the Tacoma Rainiers at Smith’s Ballpark.
