ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Utah Tech men’s basketball head coach Jon Judkins announced the signing of Davenport High School (Wash.) swingman Tennessee Rainwater to the Trailblazers’ program.

The 6’6″ Rainwater out of Davenport, Wash. earned first-team all-state honors after leading the Gorillas to the 2023 WIAA 2B state championship this past March.

Rainwater led the Gorillas to their first all-time state championship and averaged 28.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game this past season.

Rainwater is the Trailblazers’ third signee for next season, joining guards Angelo Kambala (Liberty High School; Las Vegas, Nev.) and Aric Demings (DeSoto, Texas; Davenport High School).
