SALT LAKE CITY-Diego Castillo came up with a key pair of RBI and the Reno Aces downed Salt Lake 3-1 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Luis Frías earned the win on the mound for the Aces with two strikeouts in one inning of work for Reno.

David Fletcher recorded an RBI single in defeat for the Bees.

Salt Lake, the losers of six straight, fell to 8-10 with the loss. The win improved Reno to 8-9 on the season.

The Bees and Aces resume their series Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
