FARMINGTON, Utah-Tuesday, Weber State sophomore forward Dillon Jones was named the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball Big Sky Conference Player of the Week.

In home wins over Portland State and Sacramento State last week, Jones recorded a pair of double-doubles.

In the victories over the Vikings and Hornets, Jones averaged 17.5 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals while shooting 52 percent from the field for the game.

This season, Jones is averaging 15.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for the 10-10 (5-2 in Big Sky play) Wildcats.

Jones and his Weber State teammates return to action Thursday at Moscow, Idaho to visit the Idaho Vandals.
