CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Tuesday, Utah football sophomore cornerback Clark Phillips III was named as a first-team All-American by The Sporting News.
Phillips, who posted six interceptions, six pass breakups and two pick sixes on the season, has declared for the NFL Draft as of Monday.
He has started all 31 games he has played for the Utes over the course of the past two seasons.
Phillips has been named to All-American squads for The Associated Press, Walter Camp, FWAA, CBS Sports/247 Sports and The Athletic.
Phillips will also skip the Rose Bowl as will Utes tight end Dalton Kincaid as he declared for the NFL Draft as well.
