Utah Football’s Dalton Kincaid Named Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week

MOBILE, Ala.-Monday, University of Utah senior tight end Dalton Kincaid was named as the Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week by virtue of his performance in the Utes’ 43-42 win over No. 7 USC last Saturday evening at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Kincaid, a senior out of Las Vegas, caught 16 passes on 16 targets against the Trojans for 234 yards and a score.

Kincaid’s receiving yards rank second in a single-game in program history. The record was set by receiver Carl Harry who posted 255 yards in a 41-16 win over Idaho State September 10, 1988.

In his career for the Utes, Kincaid has 76 receptions for 1,082 yards and 14 scores.

Additionally, Utah junior quarterback Cameron Rising was honored by the Davey O’Brien and Manning award watch lists Monday. Rising completed 30 of 44 passes for 415 yards and two touchdown passes and ran for 60 yards and three more scores against the Trojans.

The Utes have entered their bye week and return to action October 27 by visiting the Washington State Cougars at Pullman, Wash. as the Pac-12 season ensues.
