OKLAHOMA CITY-Thursday, Utah football sophomore cornerback Clark Phillips III ensued in his decorated week by earning Jim Thorpe Player of the Week Award honors.

Phillips netted three interceptions, including one returned for a score, for the Utes in their 42-16 win over the Oregon State Beavers last Saturday as Utah celebrated Homecoming.

This week, Phillips previously earned Walter Camp and Bednarik Award Player of the Week honors for his attainments.

Phillips and his Utes teammates play UCLA this Saturday at the Rose Bowl of Pasadena, Calif. as the Pac-12 season ensues for both Utah and the Bruins.
