SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday morning, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the calls of six Area Seventies during the first session of the October 2022 General Conference leadership meetings.

They are as follows:

Third Quorum (Africa Central, Africa South and Africa West areas)

Willy Binene: Kananga, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Seventh Quorum (Europe Central, Europe East, Europe North and Middle East/North Africa areas)

Bernhard Cziesla: Jakobwullesheim, Germany

Yves S. Weidmann: Burgdorf, Switzerland

Eighth Quorum (Pacific and Philippines Areas)

Sione Tuione: Auckland, New Zealand

Ninth Quorum (South America Northwest and South America South Areas)

Ricardo J. Battista: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Tenth Quorum (North America Central, North America Northeast and North America Southeast Areas)

Nathan R. Emery: Belleair, Fla.
