SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Tevita Valeti posted four touchdown runs and the Springville Red Devils outlasted Wasatch 48-40 in Region 9 football play Friday. Crew Erickson, the nation’s leading receiver, had scoring receptions of 70, 14 and 8 yards, for the Wasps in defeat. Erickson had 923 receiving yards coming into this evening’s game.

The Wasps fell to 3-4 (2-1 in Region 9 play) in the loss while the Red Devils improved to 6-1.

Wasatch returns to action Friday by hosting the Spanish Fork Dons at Wright-Tree Stadium for Senior Night.
