OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State sophomore quarterback Bronson Barron was named the Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Wildcats to a 44-14 win over Utah Tech last Saturday.
Barron, a former American Fork High School star, threw for a career-high 368 yards and four touchdowns for the Wildcats as they improved to 3-0 on the season.
Barron, who now has 3,339 career passing yards, 21 touchdowns and 10 interceptions at Weber State, is the 17th Wildcat in program history to exceed 3,000 passing yards.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday in the Big Sky opener at UC Davis.
