SALT LAKE CITY-Seth Beer homered and the Reno Aces secured a series split with Salt Lake, doubling up the Bees 4-2 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play, concluding the series.

Brandon Pfaatd earned the win on the mound for the Aces, posting 11 strikeouts in eight innings of work. Pfaatd is 4-0 on the season for the 75-60 Aces.

Michael Stefanic and Dillon Thomas homered in the loss for the Bees as they fell to 63-72.

The Bees return to action Tuesday at Sugar Land, Texas at 6:05 pm for a six-game series against the Space Cowboys.
