SALT LAKE CITY-Kervin Pichardo and Jorge Alfaro each homered and the El Paso Chihuahuas downed Salt Lake 6-1 Sunday at Southwest University Park in Pacific Coast League play, concluding the series.

Matt Waldron earned the win on the mound for the Chihuahuas, posting two strikeouts in five innings of play. Waldron is 3-6 on the season for El Paso.

Jose Gomez recorded an RBI double in defeat for the Bees.

Salt Lake fell to 60-69 on the season with the loss while the Chihuahuas improved to 69-59 in victory.

The Bees return to action Tuesday by hosting the Reno Aces at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

This is the Bees’ penultimate home series of the season.
