Hamilton New Zealand Temple Public Tour Dates Announced

HAMILTON, New Zealand-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced dates for the public tour of its temple at Hamilton, New Zealand.

The First Presidency of the Salt Lake City-based faith confirmed public tours commence August 26 and will run through September 17, except for Sundays.

Tours are free but visitors are encouraged to reserve an appointment at hamiltontemple.nz.

The temple will be rededicated Sunday October 16.

The temple was originally dedicated April 20, 1958 and had been closed since July 2018 for extensive renovation.

The Hamilton Temple serves roughly 117,000 Latter-day Saints in New Zealand.

The faith is constructing a temple in Auckland presently and another temple has been announced for the country’s capital city, Wellington.
