ATLANTA-Thursday, BYU football sophomore defensive end Tyler Batty , Utah senior tight end Dalton Kincaid and Utah State graduate senior cornerback Andre Grayson were named to the Wuerffel watch list.
This award is annually bestowed upon the FBS student-athlete who “best combines exemplary community service with leadership and achievement on and off the field.”
Batty, a former Payson High School star, posted 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble and 7.5 tackles for a loss last season.
He is the founder and operator of Edward’s Hands, a non-profit organization providing equine therapy for children with autism.
Kincaid posted 36 receptions for 510 yards and 8 touchdown grabs for the Utes last season.
Kincaid earned the 2020 Utah Athletes in Service Award earlier in his collegiate career.
Grayson had 30 tackles, three tackles for a loss and three passes defensed for the Aggies last season.
Grayson has traditionally worked with various groups/organizations on campus and in the community.
