WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-Wednesday morning, BYU junior kicker Jake Oldroyd was named to the Lou Groza Watch List. This award is annually bestowed upon the top kicker in FBS college football.
Last season, Oldroyd made 69 percent (9-13) of his field goal attempts last season and just under 98 percent (42-43) of his PAT attempts.
The native of Southlake, Texas was named as a third-team All-American by The Associated Press and Phil Steele last season.
Additionally, Cougars sophomore punter Ryan Rehkow was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List. This award is annually bestowed upon the top punter in FBS college football.
Rehkow averaged 48.6 yards per punt last season.
Also appearing on the Guy Watch List is Utah State junior punter Stephen Kotsanlee. Kotsanlee averaged 42.5 yards per punt last season.
