ST. GEORGE, Utah-Per Thursday news, Utah Tech baseball standout catcher Kaden Hollow signed with the San Diego Padres as a free agent.

The 6’1″ 210-pound Hollow is a two-time all-WAC selection and a 2021 Collegiate Baseball newspaper freshman All-American who started in all 53 games he appeared in for the Trailblazers.

In 2022, Hollow finished second on the squad in batting average (.327), extra-base hits (21), doubles (11), home runs (9), RBI (39) and slugging percentage (.525).
