Utah Tech head football coach Paul Peterson called SUU “a good team” when asked about the rivalry with the Thunderbirds.

The Trailblazers commence their season September 3 at Sacramento State. The T-Birds start things off September 1 by hosting St. Thomas (Minn.) at Eccles Coliseum.
