SALT LAKE CITY-Jonah Bride and Cal Stevenson each homered and the Las Vegas Aviators ended the Salt Lake Bees’ 4-game winning streak with a 6-1 win Sunday at Las Vegas Ballpark to conclude the series.
Sam Selman earned the win on the mound for the Aviators to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Selman worked two innings to secure the win for Las Vegas.
Matt Thaiss homered in defeat for Salt Lake. Sunday’s game also ended Jose Rojas’ 11-game RBI streak for the Bees.
Entering the All-Star break, Salt Lake sports a record of 42-48 while Las Vegas sits at 49-40.
The Bees return to action Friday at Smith’s Ballpark to host the Tacoma Rainiers for a 3-game series.
