LAS VEGAS-Jake Gatewood homered twice and the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Las Vegas 15-7 Wednesday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Dillon Thomas and Kean Wong also homered in victory for Salt Lake.

Brian Moran posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to net the victory for the Bees on the mound. Moran improved to 2-1 on the season.

Cristian Pache and Nate Mondou homered in the loss for the Aviators as they fell to 48-37. Salt Lake improved to 39-47 with the win.

The Bees and Aviators return to action Thursday at 8:05 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark.
