SALT LAKE CITY-Willie Calhoun homered and the Sacramento River Cats outlasted Salt Lake 6-5 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Norwith Gudino earned the win on the mound for the River Cats by posting two strikeouts in as many innings of work. Gudino improved to 2-3 on the season for Sacramento in victory.

Jose Rojas homered and added an RBI triple in defeat for the Bees. Jo Adell also homered in the loss for Salt Lake.

The Bees, who have dropped four consecutive games, fell to 37-46. Conversely, Sacramento improves to 37-46 in victory.

Salt Lake and Sacramento concludes the series Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
