GREELEY, Colo.-Saturday, the Ogden Raptors and Northern Colorado Owlz played a Pioneer League doubleheader at Jackson Field. The Raptors swept the Owlz 16-2 and 14-7.
In the first game, Dustyn Macaluso homered in the win for the Raptors.
Christian Day improved to 3-1 on the season for the Raptors by posting four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden.
Alex Jackson drove in a run for the Owlz in the loss.
In the second game, Brian Dansereau and Sonny Ulliana homered for the Raptors in the win.
Samuel Burton earned the win on the mound for Ogden, posting three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work.
Tim Bouchard and Robbie Kellerman homered in the loss for the Owlz.
Ogden improved to 24-17 in victory and Northern Colorado fell to 15-24 in the loss.
The Raptors will take Sunday and Monday off before hosting the Rocky Mountain Vibes Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
