SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, University of Utah football signed four-star safety Randon Fontenette.
The senior-to-be at Brazosport High School of Freeport, Texas chose the Utes over Vanderbilt and Texas Tech.
The 6’3″ 195-pound Fontenette developed a strong relationship with Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley, resulting in his decision to select Utah.
Scouts renown Fontenette for his “good burst and initial quickness.” He has also been lauded for his size, making him valuable in the secondary, per reports.
