IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Sunday, the Ogden Raptors and Idaho Falls Chukars split a Pioneer League doubleheader at Melaleuca Field because the field was unplayable Saturday.
In the first game, the Chukars doubled up the Raptors 4-2 as Hunter Hisky, Calvin Estrada and Jose Reyes each drove in a run.
Sam Kornstad earned the win on the mound by posting three strikeouts in five innings of work.
Reese Alexiades drove in both runs for the Raptors in the loss.
In the second game, Ogden responded with a 3-2 victory over the Chukars.
Jesus Valdez and Sonny Ulliana each drove in a run for Ogden in the win.
Steve Barmakian and Aldo Buendia each had an RBI in the loss for Idaho Falls.
The Raptors are presently 19-16 on the season and Idaho Falls sports a record of 20-14.
The Raptors and Chukars meet again Monday at 4:00 pm for an Independence Day game at Meleleuca Field.
