OGDEN, Utah-Brandon Crosby homered and the Northern Colorado Owlz downed Ogden 7-3 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Jerryell Rivera earned the win on the mound for the Owlz by posting a strikeout in 4.1 innings of work.

Fox Semones and Dakota Conners each had an RBI in defeat for the Raptors.

Northern Colorado improved to 7-7 on the season with the win while Ogden fell to 9-5.

The Owlz and the Raptors return to action Saturday at 7:00 pm as the series resumes at Lindquist Field.
