OGDEN, Utah-Josh Elvir drove in four runs and the Grand Junction Rockies won their second straight game by besting the Ogden Raptors 10-7 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.
Neri Liam recorded the win on the mound for the Rockies by posting two strikeouts in three innings of work.
Reese Alexiades homered in defeat for the Raptors as they dropped their second straight game to fall to 1-2.
The Rockies, having won two straight games, improved to 2-1 on the season with the win.
The Rockies and Raptors meet again Saturday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field as the series ensues.
