OGDEN, Utah-Reese Alexiades posted three RBI and the Ogden Raptors doubled up Grand Junction 12-6 Wednesday in the Pioneer League opener for both squads at Lindquist Field.

Ronny Orta recorded the win on the mound for Ogden by posting six strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work.

Jaylen Hubbard, Nate Scantlin, Josh Elvir, Colin Gordon, Frankie Jezioro and Austin Elder each had an RBI in defeat for the Rockies.

Ogden improves to 1-0 on the season while Grand Junction slumps to 0-1.

The two squads meet again Thursday at 6:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
