OREM, Utah-Monday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen announced the Wolverines’ signing of Cam Alford, a John A. Logan College (Ill.) point guard.

Alford, a 6-1 205-pound guard out of Indianapolis led the Volunteers to the No. 4 seed at the NJCAA Tournament this past March.

Alford averaged 11 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in two seasons at John A. Logan.

Alford also played at Alabama A&M and averaged 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Aggies.

Alford will have two seasons of eligibility with the Wolverines.
