Authorities report that the blaze is now 5 percent contained.

The situation continues to worsen at this time.
#FlatLineFire update: The fire is estimated at 85 acres. A heavy air tanker is on scene to assist with ground resources. SR-40 will closed while the tanker makes its retardant drops. Please use alternative routes & avoid the area.

This fire, known as the Flat Line Fire, is believed to be human-caused, per Arielle Harrison of KUTV Channel 2.
Roughly 40 personnel are at the scene.

Sources esitmate the blaze is at 15 acres and no structures are in danger at this time.

The blaze is near River Road close to the US 40 and S.R. 32 junction north of Heber City.
