SALT LAKE CITY-David MacKinnon homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Albuquerque 8-1 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Davis Daniel earned his first win of the season on the mound for the Bees, as he improved to 1-1.

Daniel posted six strikeouts in as many innings of work for the Bees, as Salt Lake improved to 23-19 with the victory.

Tim Lopes had an RBI triple in defeat for the Isotopes as Albuquerque fell to 18-24.

The Bees take Monday off before returning to action Tuesday at Sacramento for a six-game series.
