SALT LAKE CITY-Colby Fitch hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees surged past Albuquerque 7-5 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Tyler Hill had an RBI single in the top of the 6th for Albuquerque to tie the game 5-5 before Fitch’s heroics to end the game.

Jonathan Aro earned the win on the mound for the Bees to improve to 1-0 on the season.

Salt Lake improved to 22-18 on the season with the win.

Albuquerque fell to 17-23 with the loss.

The Bees and Isotopes meet again Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
