SALT LAKE CITY-David MacKinnon homered and had an RBI single and the Salt Lake Bees blanked Albuquerque 8-0 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Jake Kalish posted seven strikeouts in as many innings of work for the Bees, as he improved to 4-1 on the season.

With their second straight win in the series, the Bees improved to 21-17 while Albuquerque slumps to 16-22.

The Bees and Isotopes ensue in the series Thursday evening at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
