OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State junior safety Kao Hansen was named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his contributions to the Wildcats’ 43-27 win over Portland State last Saturday.
Hansen, a former Lone Peak High School star out of Alpine, Utah posted two interceptions and six tackles for the Wildcats in the win.
Hansen and his Weber State teammates return to action Saturday by hosting Eastern Washington at Stewart Stadium as the Big Sky season ensues for both squads.
