Wednesday, Weber State men’s basketball was selected third in the Big Sky Conference preseason poll by the media and fourth by the conference’s coaches. Montana State is favored to win the conference by media as the Bobcats received 14 first-place votes. The media preseason rankings are as follows:

The Wildcats were represented on the preseason all-conference team by senior guard Miguel Tomley, a transfer from Idaho State. The native of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, posted 14 points per game last season for the Bengals.
