OGDEN, Utah-Thursday, Weber State head football coach Eric Kjar added Tanner Jacobson as the Wildcats’ new associate head coach.
Jacobson will also serve as Weber State’s special teams coordinator and linebackers coach.
Jacobson previously played at Texas Tech (2013) and BYU (2016-18), posting 62 career tackles and an interception with the Red Raiders and Cougars. He has spent the past four seasons as the head coach at Tyler (Texas) Junior College.
Jacobson also spent time at Snow College where he was the Badgers’ special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach.
The native of Southland, Texas is a 2018 graduate of BYU.
