HEBER CITY, Utah-Crew Cacciacarne threw four touchdown passes and the Weber Warriors spoiled Wasatch’s home opener with a 62-41 rout of the Wasps Friday at Wright-Tree Stadium. Dyson Parker added scoring runs of 25 and 9 yards for the Warriors in their first win of the season.
In his return from injury, Kelson Mack completed 22 of 42 passes for 295 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. JoJo Hyer recorded 12 receptions for 179 yards and three scores in the loss for the Wasps. Carter Bucad added two total touchdowns and 109 yards in defeat for Wasatch as well.
The Wasps return to action Friday by visiting traditional power Orem for a 7:00 pm kickoff.
