Kavyn Carter netted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Maple Mountain. The Golden Eagles next face No. 20 Spanish Fork this evening at 7:00 pm at Miller Park.

Miles Layton netted five strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bengals. Brighton advances to the 5A Finals Series Friday at 7:00 pm at UCCU Ballpark on the campus of Utah Valley University.

Keyana Murray posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Salem Hills. Brooke Richards, Kailee Hall, Jenna Marble and Izibel Mason drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Bees. Salem Hills plays No. 3 West Jordan Thursday at 7:00 pm in the 5A Series Finals at Miller Park.

SALT LAKE CITY-Gabriel Carrera netted five goals and the No. 1 Brighton Bengals bested No. 4 Alta 15-10 in the 5A boys lacrosse semifinals Wednesday at Dumke Field. Beckham Horoba netted four goals in the loss for the Hawks. Brighton next faces No. 3 Park City Friday at 10:00 am in the 5A state championship game at Zions Bank Stadium.
SALT LAKE CITY-Ian Marsland scored three goals and the No. 3 Park City Miners overpowered No. 2 Olympus 8-3 Wednesday at Dumke Field in the 5A boys lacrosse semifinals. Kai Rossi, Gabe Gordon and Kevin Clinger scored in the loss for the Titans.
