5A State Playoffs 2nd Round
HEBER CITY, Utah-Cole Simpson and Jayden Cosper each scored and the No. 4 Wasatch Wasps blanked No. 13 West 2-0 in the 2nd round of the 5A boys soccer state playoffs Tuesday. Joshua Williams recorded the shutout in the net for the Wasps. Thursday, the Wasps host No. 5 Granger at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Nico Golesis scored twice and the No. 6 Skyline Eagles doubled up No. 11 Salem Hills 2-1 Tuesday in the 2nd round of the 5A boys soccer state playoffs. The Eagles next visit No. 3 Bountiful Friday at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Manny Enríquez and Jorge Beltrán each scored and the No. 1 East Leopards doubled up No. 16 Roy 2-1 in the 2nd round of the 5A boys soccer state playoffs Tuesday. The Leopards next host No. 9 Northridge in the state quarterfinals Friday at 4:00 pm.

SALT LAKE CITY-Sammy McMaster scored five goals and the No. 11 Skyline Eagles dismantled No. 22 Roy 17-9 Tuesday in the first round of the 5A state girls lacrosse playoffs. The Eagles next visit No. 6 Brighton Thursday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
