COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah-Berlyn Brown and Brynnlie Pickett drove in two runs apiece and the No. 17 Wasatch Wasps completed an upset of No. 16 Brighton with a 9-5 win over the Bengals in the third game of this 5A Regionals series. Brown netted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wasps. Audrey Fleckenstein, Elania Dodds, Alison Nikolaus and Leah Tomlinson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bengals. Wasatch next visits No. 1 Salem Hills May 15-16 in the 5A Super Regionals.

Khloe Bell posted 13 strikeouts in eight innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wasps. Alison Nikolaus’ grand slam led the Bengals in the loss.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Kambria Orton homered and the No. 9 Spanish Fork Dons routed No. 24 Granger 16-0 Monday to sweep this 5A Regionals series against the Lancers. Anaca Olsen posted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dons. Spanish Fork next visits No. 8 Taylorsville in the 5A Super Regionals May 15 and 16.
CLEARFIELD, Utah-Alexandra Bingham drove in four runs and the No. 12 Clearfield Falcons smoked No. 21 Woods Cross 10-0 Monday, sweeping this 5A Regionals series against the Wildcats. Jenna Lloyd recorded six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Falcons. Clearfield next visits No. 5 Olympus May 15-16 in the 5A Super Regionals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Andie Elmer homered and the No. 20 Bonneville Lakers pounded No. 13 17-3, sweeping this 5A Regionals series against the Leopards Monday. Peyton Johnson netted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Lakers. Amaiah Garcia drove in two runs in the loss for East. Bonneville next visits No. 4 Box Elder in the 5A Super Regionals May 15-16.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-Kinsley Lawrence belted a grand slam and Sarahi Gomez also went yard as the No. 15 Hunter Wolverines got past No. 18 Northridge 18-11 in the third game of this 5A Regionals series to eliminate the Knights. Lawrence stepped up with three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolverines. Kaylee Shirreffs homered in the loss for the Knights. Hunter next visits No. 2 Bountiful May 15-16 in the Super Regionals.

MAGNA, Utah-Ajla Hadzialijagic belted a grand slam and Bree Garcia and Abby Hurtado also homered as the No. 10 Cyprus Pirates sank No. 23 Kearns 14-0 Monday, completing a 5A Regionals sweep of the Cougars. Garcia netted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Pirates. Cyprus next visits No. 7 Maple Mountain May 15-16 in the 5A Super Regionals.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Eva Okusi homered and the No. 11 Cedar Valley Aviators pounded No. 22 Skyline 18-3 Monday, completing a 5A Regionals sweep of the Eagles. Centry Lundberg recorded six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Aviators. Bella Waters and Isabella Rasmussen drove in a run apiece in the loss for Skyline. Cedar Valley next visits No. 6 Springville May 15-16 in the 5A Super Regionals.
BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Raegyn Dahlke and Marlee Moser homered and the No. 14 Viewmont Vikings downed No. 19 Alta 13-11 Monday to outlast the Hawks in the 5A Regionals with a 2-1 victory. Brielle Watson and Addyson Brownell homered in the loss for Alta. Viewmont next advances to visit No. 3 West Jordan in the 5A Super Regionals May 15-16.
BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Taylor Johnson and Bailey Thompson homered and the No. 19 Alta Hawks bested No. 14 Viewmont 7-5, forcing a third game in this 5A Regionals series against the Vikings Monday. Emery Pettitt netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Alta. Ricki Smith homered in the loss for the Vikings.
