OCEANSIDE, Calif.-Jayden Nunez, Hudson Wood, Benjamin Myers, Ethan Johns, Benji Avila and Micah Bala drove in a run apiece and the Oceanside (Calif.) Pirates sank Wasatch 6-4 Tuesday in non-region baseball play. Braxton Faller drove in two runs in the loss for the Wasps.

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah-Allyson Young homered and the Pleasant Grove Vikings downed Wasatch 9-5 in Region 7 softball play Tuesday. Olivia Barnes posted three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Vikings. Khloe Bell and Braelyn Hill each homered in the loss for the Wasps.
