HEBER CITY, Utah-McClain Carter homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles waxed Wasatch 5-1 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Gracie Jensen’s four strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win in the circle for Maple Mountain. Sydnee McPhie drove in a run in the loss for the Wasps.
