ST. GEORGE, Utah-Blake Sweat drove in five runs and the Wasatch Wasps smoked Pocatello (Idaho) 14-5 Saturday at the Desert Hills Open. Austin Brown drove in four more runs in victory for Wasatch. Kyren Stocking added two more RBI and Braxton Faller drove in an additional run in the win for the Wasps. Jack Salmon posted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Wasatch.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Brock Litchfield drove in three runs and the West Jordan Jaguars downed Wasatch 8-5 at the Desert Hills Open Saturday. Ethan Baldwin posted four strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Jaguars. Micah Dahl, Bridger Shaw and Kyren Stocking each drove in a run in the loss for the Wasps.
