SALT LAKE CITY-Brennan Blackett’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the way and the No. 12 Pleasant Grove Vikings upset No. 4 Wasatch 66-58 Monday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center on the campus of the University of Utah. Caleb Balch’s 21 points and 5 rebounds led the Wasps in the loss. Pleasant Grove next plays Thursday at 4:00 pm in the 5A state semifinals against No. 8 Bountiful Thursday at 4:00 pm.
SALT LAKE CITY-Lincoln Smith’s 23 points led the way and the No. 8 Bountiful RedHawks drilled No. 17 Alta 58-44 in the 5A state quarterfinals Monday at the Huntsman Center. Colin Hansen led the Hawks in the loss with 21 points.
SALT LAKE CITY-Gavin Lowe amassed 40 points and the No. 2 Olympus Titans surged past No. 7 Springville 67-57 in the 5A state quarterfinals Monday at the Huntsman Center. Jamyn Sondrup’s 19 points and 9 rebounds led the Red Devils in the loss. Olympus next faces No. 3 Highland in the 5A state semifinals at the Huntsman Center Thurday at 5:40 pm.
SALT LAKE CITY-Jordan Oberholtzer recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the No. 3 Highland Rams dismantled No. 11 Woods Cross 62-48 at the Huntsman Center Monday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Madden Johnsen led the Wildcats in the loss with 15 points and 5 rebounds.

SALT LAKE CITY-Kylee Falatea netted 21 points and the No. 3 West Panthers edged No. 6 Wasatch 59-56 Monday in the 5A state quarterfinals at The Huntsman Center. Mahala Speredon’s 21 points and 12 rebounds led the Wasps in the loss. West next faces No. 2 Bountiful Thursday at 9:30 am in the 5A state semifinals at The Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-Milika Satuala posted 28 points and 9 rebounds and the No. 2 Bountiful RedHawks routed No. 10 Maple Mountain 60-35 in the 5A state quarterfinals at The Huntsman Center Monday. Leah Bailey’s 19 points led the Golden Eagles in the loss.
SALT LAKE CITY-Sutton Villa recorded 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 blocks and the No. 1 Pleasant Grove Vikings dismantled No. 9 Springville 55-41 in the 5A state quarterfinals Monday at The Huntsman Center. Hattie Templeman netted 19 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Red Devils. Pleasant Grove next faces No. 4 Fremont Thursday at 11:00 am at the Huntsman Center in the state semifinals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Abby Christensen’s 26 points and 5 rebounds led the way and the No. 4 Fremont Silverwolves stymied No. 5 Alta 56-41 at The Huntsman Center Monday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Quincy Kegel netted 16 points and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Hawks.
