Wasatch High School Boys Soccer lost 2-3 in the semi finals at the Utah High School State tournament to Region 6 Olympus High School. The Titans jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the game, and were able to shut down attacks by the Wasps. Team Captain and lead scorer Carlos Vargas was finally able to knock a goal into the net just before half time. The Titans with their fast moving forwards returned to the second half of play with a dagger goal giving them a 3-1 lead, until Senior Jaxon Bridge kicked a shot from a free kick to give the Wasps a chance at 2-3. The Wasps could not connect in the final minutes of the game to get the ball into the net, ending their state tournament play. Wasatch Boys Soccer completed the season as Region 8 Champions with a 12-1-2 record in regular play, and defeated Skyline and Roy during the state tournament.
