HEBER CITY, Utah-Matt Norman’s 19 points led the way as the Timpanogos Timberwolves routed Wasatch 86-53 Tuesday in Region 8 boys basketball action at the Nest. Colin Hughes had 11 points for the Wasps in defeat.
The Wasps fell to 10-9 and 3-2 in region play. The Wasps return to action Friday as they host Maple Mounain at the Nest.

Girls Basketball

HEBER CITY, Utah-Tori Dorius amassed 16 points and 6 rebounds as the Wasatch Wasps pummeled Timpanogos 50-32 in Region 8 girls basketball action Tuesday. Isabel Thomas led the Timberwolves in the loss with 14 points. The Wasps improved to 15-5 with the win and 6-1 in region play. Coach Norm Hayter’s squad is again in action Friday as they host Maple Mountain at the Nest.
