HEBER CITY, Utah-Adarius Edwards threw touchdown passes to Jarrin Kalama (2 yards) and Cooper Scott (5 yards) as the Wasatch Wasps improved to 4-1 by downing the Spanish Fork Dons 26-17 Friday at Wright-Tree Stadium for Homecoming at Wasatch High School.
The Wasps improved to 1-0 in Region 8 play while Ashton Southam made field goals of 21 and 26 yards to contribute to the Wasatch victory. Chris Cook added a 5-yard touchdown run for the Wasps with Mason Peterson adding a fumble recovery in the win.
Wasatch is next in action Friday at 7:00 pm at Wright-Tree Stadium against the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles as the Region 8 season continues.
