HEBER CITY, Utah-Per a Wednesday announcement from the Wasatch High boys and girls’ basketball programs, the respective final cuts were released.
The girls’ roster for head coach Norm Hayter is senior-heavy with eight on the roster. These include Faith Fitzgerald, Kymbee Baird, Tori Dorius, McKenzie McBride, McKell Gagon, Quincy Olney, Lexy MacKay and Brooke Sargent.
There are six juniors on the girls’ basketball roster, including Ashlee Wood, Mandy Belnap, Aspyn Nuemann, Erika Fredericks, Morgan Brown and Shelbie Sampson.
The seven sophomores on the girls’ roster are Jade Parke, Rachael Heath, Maci Berg, Gracie Huff, Ayden Sorensen, Aspen Hoffman and Haley Messick.
There are 13 freshmen on the roster as well. They are Rachel Noyce, Paige Berg, Kinsley Schultz, Chiara Serre, Taylor Tust, Brooklyn Witt, Libby Anderson, Rosalyn Giese, Elisabeth Anthony, Charly Cluff, Keeley Tuttle, Ava Pulsipher and Grace Wunder.
The managers are Skye Jones, Maddi Bangerter, Hannah Homer and Sydney McBride.
The girls’ season commences November 27 as they host Timpview at the Nest at 7:00 pm.
The boys’ roster will be young as head coach James Ballstaedt has only one senior in Ethan Wood, the star receiver/tight end from football.
There are eight juniors, including Lance Gehring, Conner McKee, Britton Maxwell, Isaac Burton, Quincy White, Jade Ballstaedt and Ben Sanders.
The nine sophomores are Colin Hughes, Hawk Ballstaedt, Cole Magnusson, Gavin Scott, Jake Gillman, Garrett Windsor, LT McMasters, Dakota Thacker and Alex Goates.
The 17 freshmen are Jaxton Anderson, Joe Wunder, Tucker Englebright, William White, Holden Sparks, Max McKee, Justin Hyer, Mac Berg, Zack Pinter, Brigham Pelo, Josh Sanders, Jackson Davies, Breken Bowen, Gavin Turley, Robbie Glenn, Nate Nord and Soren Nielson.
The boys’ season commences November 21 as they host Skyline at the Nest at 7:00 pm.
