HEBER CITY, Utah-Friday, the Wasatch Wasps completed their football game to make up for the canceled 4th Quarter against Park City last week.
The Wasps did have to endure a weather delay with 7 minutes left in the 4th Quarter because of lighting in the area, but they still managed to rout Class 3-A Mountain Crest 35-14 Friday at Wright-Tree Stadium.
Star signal-caller Brock Cloward tossed touchdown passes to Brydger Purdy, Kaden Smith, Jake Gillman and Ethan Wood. Cloward also added a 30-yard touchdown run for the Wasps. All told, Cloward threw for 328 yards on the evening. Wood was the recipient of 140 of those yards.
Wasatch is next in action at Mountain View High School in Orem on Friday August 31. As always, tune into the Peak 94.5 FM with Tyler Moss and John Moss for all the action.
Additionally, don’t miss Crossing the T’s with Ty and Ty Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. on the Peak.
